    Produced by Paul Weyersberg this is an excellent example. The blade has a nice appearance but has been cleaned at some point. The reverse is has the Paul Weyersberg & Co trademark with Solingen beneath. The blade measures 31" The grip is near mint with a small piece missing from the bottom. The Eagle symbol shows modest wear. The scabbard is sctraight as an arrow and has 100% of its paint. A very nice scabbard. Overall a very nice example.     Produced by Alexander Coppel this example has matching serial numbers. The blade is above average with some age wear to the tip and minor dings. The plating is nearly 100% intact with only a bit of corrosion to the tip. This is a double marked blade with the trademark ACS and scales on the obverse and Alexander Coppel Solingen on the reverse. The grip is stag with a nice Police Eagle centered. The plated pommel and crossguard has minimal wear to the high points. The crossgaurd is stamped LAr. 345. The same is stamped to the scabbard. The scabbard is brown leather. The frog is also brown leather and both show honest wear. The portapee is the black leather type with triple stitching with black, red, and white stitching.     Produced by Carl Eickhorn this rare dagger is in near mint condition. The blade is deeply etched on both sides and retains almost all of the original burnishing. A nice mirror like finish on the blade. The reverse is marked Carl Eickhorn Solingen with the trademark squirrel. The grip is fine blue leather with twisted wire running from top to bottom. The pommel is in near mint condition with nearly all of its original plating. The crossguard shows minimal wear with some plate lose.     Produced by WKC this fine example is the clamshell version. The blade near mint with nearly 100% of its plating, a mirror like finish and very little use marks. The obverse is marked with the WKC Knights trademark. The stag grip is in near mint problem free condition. The police eagle is nice and crisp with lots of detail. The pommel and crossguard retain almost 100% of the plating. The fine clamshell eagle has in exceptional condition. The scabbard is a black leather shell with nickel palting mounts. Overall has honest carrying marks. In Near Mint Minus condition. Purchased from Thomas Wittman almost 20 years ago and comes with the original COA. "S" (code for Simson) on Eagle/33 proofed center toggle link. All numbered parts on gun are matching down to the firing pin. Simson Eagle/6 proofs on almost every part. Sear safety. Eagle/6, Eagle/81 and Eagle/67 proofs on right receiver. Nazi proofed checkered walnut grips. Eagle/63 proofed "S/42" marked aluminum bottom mag with numbers that do not match. This gun is featured on p. 467 of Borchardt & Luger Automatic Pistols by Joachim Gortz and Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. PROVENANCE: Collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% Police Arsenal blue and straw. Grips are oil soaked dark and checkering is very lightly worn with some dings and chips to checkering. Mag body retains 70% blue with corrosion. Aluminum bottom has light nicks and dings and the front pin is missing. Top of mag button is broken. Bore is sharp with frosting.     SN 310r. Cal. 9mm. 4" bbl with Eagle/3 over 3-digit SN on bottom and Eagle/33 on upper left. "1916" date above chamber. Crown/Erfurt on center toggle link. Imperial proof on rear toggle link. Left receiver has Crown/M proofs. This gun was made in the Weimar era out of available parts including a 1916 DWM Navy receiver and an Erfurt toggle. Mismatched parts were numbered to match, as orig numbers are still visible under matching numbers on breechblock and trigger. Sear safety. Deactivated mag safety. Checkered walnut grips are "S/42" and Eagle/154 proofed on back with 3-digit matching SN. Aluminum bottom Eagle/6 proofed mag with numbers that do not match. PROVENANCE: Collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. CONDITION: Retains 98% orig Arsenal blue with light wear on sharp edges. Orig Arsenal straw is 97% with some minor dings on takedown lever.
